## ShipRadar verdict

Use it to retouch photos you already have, not to dream up new ones. For fresh pictures from a short prompt, Ideogram or Midjourney get you there with less fuss, and Krea 2 wins most of the side-by-side threads.

- Best for: Photographers with an NVIDIA card who want free edits of their own pictures that keep the pose, the camera angle and the skin texture.
- Not great for: Quick pictures from a one-line prompt. BFL's own model card warns that short prompts come out generic.
- Watch out: Its prompt helper is a separate 9B model that adds about 28 GB of GPU memory. On a smaller card, give BFL's system prompt to any chatbot and paste the caption it writes. Commercial use is free only below $5M in yearly revenue.
