## ShipRadar verdict

Open Google Translate in a browser, click Documents, and upload a Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF file. You download a translated copy in the same format. Free, with a 10 MB limit and 300 pages for PDFs.

- Best for: Translating a whole document for free, from a one-page letter to a 300-page PDF.
- Not great for: Scanned pages or photos inside a document. Google says that text shows up in the result but isn't translated.
- Watch out: Files max out at 10 MB, and document translation only works on a computer, not on a phone or small screen.
