## ShipRadar verdict

Microsoft's Playwright MCP, with about 38,000 stars, gives an AI assistant a real web browser to click, type and read in.

- Best for: Letting an AI assistant fill forms, check websites or pull information from pages that need clicking.
- Not great for: Simple web lookups. Built-in web search is easier.
- Watch out: It drives a real browser, so it can click things you didn't intend; watch it on accounts that matter.
