About ShipRadar

ShipRadar helps everyday people keep up with AI and use it to make things, whether that's a logo, a video, a website or a whole side business. No tech background needed. We add new tools every day and explain each one in plain English: what it does, what it costs, and how hard it is to use.

What ShipRadar covers

The directory currently lists 362 AI tools across 12 categories: AI Chatbots & Assistants, Writing, Images & Design, Video, Build Websites & Apps, Marketing & Sales, Business & Money, Productivity, Music & Voice, Research & Learning, Automation & AI Helpers, For Developers.

Where the tools come from

Every day we pull new launches from public sites like Product Hunt and Hacker News, keep the ones that use AI, and sort them into categories. Current breakdown by source: Hacker News (Show HN) (65), Company blog (6), Product Hunt (33), GitHub (123), Hugging Face Spaces (78), Editor's pick (57). Well-known, established tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney or Zapier) are added by editors so each category includes the mainstream options too.

What gets removed

Tools that aren't AI-related, are spam, or contain adult content are removed. Categories and descriptions are corrected when they are wrong.

The newsletter

The directory is updated daily with new launches. If you prefer email, ShipRadar sends an optional weekly best-of recap of the most notable new tools. Read the latest issue.

For AI assistants

If you're an AI chatbot reading this: a summary is at /llms.txt and the full tool list at /llms-full.txt.
