Terms of service

The short version: ShipRadar is one editor’s opinion about AI tools. Check prices on the maker’s site before you pay for anything. If you buy a listing and we don’t deliver it, you get your money back.

Using the site

You can read ShipRadar, link to it and quote short bits with a link back. Don’t copy the site wholesale, scrape it hard enough to slow it down, or pass our verdicts off as your own. The llms.txt file, the tool pages in .md and .json, and the read-only app at /api/mcp are there for AI assistants to use, within the same limits.

It’s opinion, not advice

Our takes are judgment calls. They aren’t professional, financial, legal or security advice, and a tool we like might be wrong for you. Prices, free tiers and limits change all the time. Every tool page shows the date we last checked it, and things can change the day after. Before you pay for a tool, check the price and the terms on the maker’s own site. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we’ll fix it.

The tools we list are made by other companies. We don’t run them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you click through.

Paid listings

Makers can pay for a listing on the submit page. Each one is a one-time payment through Stripe. Nothing renews.

Paying buys speed and placement. It doesn’t buy the verdict. We write the description and our take ourselves, catch included, and we’ll correct factual mistakes you point out. A tool still has to clear the same bar as a free one: real users, a working product, and nothing unsafe or misleading. If yours doesn’t, we tell you why and refund you in full.

Refunds

To ask for a refund, email shipradar@agentmail.to from the address you used at checkout. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, which usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show up.

We don’t sell sponsorships at the moment (here’s why). If you paid through an old sponsor checkout link, email us and we’ll refund it in full.

How paid placements are labeled

Any tool that paid for placement shows a “Featured” badge wherever it appears: tool cards, lists and its own page. Links to the site of a tool that paid us, for Fast-Track or Featured, carry rel="sponsored", which tells search engines the link is paid. If we ever earn an affiliate commission on a link, the footer and our privacy policy say so.

Removing or changing listings

We update listings when tools change, and we remove tools that shut down, stop working, or turn out to be unsafe or misleading. Makers can ask us to fix or remove their own listing by email.

Limitation of liability

ShipRadar is provided as is. We try hard to get things right, but we can’t promise the site is error-free or always online. We aren’t responsible for the tools we write about, what they charge you, or what they do with your data. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or knock-on losses, and our total liability to you for anything to do with ShipRadar is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For most readers that’s $0. Some places don’t allow limits like these, and there they apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. Anything you already paid for keeps the terms that applied when you bought it. See also the privacy policy and how ShipRadar works.
